Cyclist on a billboard raises awareness for MS

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us yesterday. WIth our cyclist 40-feet above, we had tons of people honking their horns as they drove by, onlookers taking pictures with their phones, and an enthusiastic crowd on hand. A BIG thank you to CBS 46’s Better Mornings program for their coverage (should be able to post the video soon), as well as Zakk Tyler from Dave FM and Randy Cook from WGST 640 AM — we even had the traffic helicopter fly by! Listen to the interview with Chapter President, Roy Rangel and Randy Cook.

Also, a big thanks to those the donated their time and efforts – ClearChannel Outdoor for making the billboard available, Mayors Jewelers for allowing us to have the billboard for the day and Starbucks for providing some free coffee and danishes.

Next week, we’ll have the unveiling of Steve Penley’s artwork at Linstrum + Matre Artworks that was created exclusively for the Georgia Chapter and the Bike MS: Cox Atlanta Ride. His artwork will serve as the jersey design!!
